Support our mission and ministries

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. Luke 6:38

There are a number of different ways you can support our ministry with financial gifts, some of which are detailed below for your convenience. Please call the church office for additional information.

1. Online Giving
You can give through paypal using credit/debit/checking account (please click PayPal Icon on right side).

2. Check or Cash
Cash and checks are the most common way donations are received by the church. Gifts may be placed in the offering plate. Year end giving statements will be mailed in January for all gifts received the prior year. These statements will be provided for all identifiable gifts, whether contributed in an offering envelope, via check, or in some other form (see other types below). Because some donors wish to give cash and receive confirmation of all of their gifts, the church provides numbered giving envelopes. In addition to gifts received by check or otherwise identified, any gifts received by the church in these giving envelopes will be tracked and a statement produced by the church for the donor. If you would like to sign up to use giving envelopes, please call the office at 718.236.1197 or stop by the church office.

3. Stock and Mutual Fund
It is possible to transfer stocks and mutual funds directly to the church. If this is done with securities that have been held for more than one year, the donor will be able to deduct the full fair market value of the securities and avoid paying any capital gain. If, however, the securities are sold first and then the proceeds are given to the church, the donor will still have to pay capital gain taxes to the I.R.S. A little planning in this area can help you take full advantage of the tax benefits allowed by the government.
