Women who enjoy knitting and crocheting can gather together every other Saturday in the Metropolitan Fellowship Hall from 1 to 3 pm. You don’t need to know how to knit because the leaders of Woven Hearts love to help people learn. The Woven Heart attendees love to make items for the needy in our community, for pregnancy care centers, for homeless women and children, and for the Samaritan Purse Christmas Child Shoeboxes. This group of women from all age groups enjoy food, fellowship, and laughter, while putting out literally hundreds of items monthly. Some provide their own materials or they can use the abundant materials provided by Metropolitan.
We want to serve the Lord who is the God of Psalm 139:13-14. For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.
